Dragon Fruit Habanero Glaze Recipe

Dragonfruit is a delicious, summertime treat when in season. Dragon fruit (also known as pitahaya or strawberry pear), is a tropical fruit believed native to Central America with a sweet, seed-speckled pulp. Dragonfruit also contains betalains, very potent anti-oxidants that can combat oxidative stress.

This is a tremendously versatile glaze to use on fish (or other proteins). Here, a fresh tuna steak was grilled to perfection and topped with the glaze. This addition brings a sweet heat that screams tropical summer fun.  Simple, easy, and delectable!
